So will Ol' Shep still come back to see his master? Can Lassie or Ol'Yeller? Or Morris? In seriousness, do you believe that our beloved housepets will be with us in the spirit world thereafter? If the love we hold dear in our hearts after our loved one passes keeps them eternal so to speak, should it not also apply to those pets we have share our unconditional love with in our lives be as well? Has anyone experenced any pet or animal haunting? Tell us what you think. Is it possible?

While it could be argued whether animals or house pets have spirits, I do believe that when our pets are like family members and they as we share our love with them, that love continues onward after death, just as if it were from a human family member. Case in point: Pet can sense death. When my mother died, her dog never left her side. Even when I showed up days later, her poodle (whom knew me very well) became combative as I tried removing him away from her body. I remember looking into his eyes and couldn't image having his master leave him and yet he laid there beside her for three days as if to protect her.Only when I told him, "It's o.k. I know.'" that he finally let me remove him from the area.Whatever that connection is, call it spirit or love, I do believe continues on even after death as we know it.

On a simular note: Has anyone known or would anyone GH team consider using a dog as a team member? If they have the acute sense of hearing, would not this live animal react much or in harmony with the reading of the equipment? (i.e. here the departed voices without the recorder, sense the spirit without a meter, ect.....)And no.....Scooby Doo doesn't count! ;D
