We will be taking the trip this weekend to Stepp Cemetery this weekend if all the stars line up just right. There are a couple of other cemeteries in the Morgan Monroe forestry that we may go to also. Keep an eye on the website for details. www.ripindy.com

Does anyone really believe this cemetery is haunted. I think it is more folk lore.

I'm with you Phil. We arrived around dusk to take some preliminary photos and met around half a dozen people. When we returned at dark, there were 2 people there. In the following two hours around 2 dozen people stopped by, shared their "ghost stories" and left. Most were teenagers. We captured zero evidence of anything paranormal. But then, who knows? Maybe "ghosts" don't like to perform in front of big audiences?

does this cemetary have a WW1 soldier statue in it? I still say the statue was turning its head and watching us that night we stopped there on our way back from Griffy Lake.

Welcome and thanks for joining. ;D I don't recall one but I will go through the photos we have a see if we've got a picture of one. Can you give more details on your experience there?

Me and a buddy were night fishing at Griffy Lake near Bloomington and on our way home we stopped at a cemetary. I guess just one of those teen things! Any way we were walking through about 3 or 4 a.m. when we had the feeling we were being watched. when we turned we noticed the soldier statue seemed to have turned his head towards us.? Maybe imagination ? I dont know and no we were not drinking! Ill see if I can find it again sometime and let you know. It was just one of those "let's see where this road goes" journeys. If I find it i'll let you know. Thanks
